How the system works is; immediately after payment you will be able to download a questionnaire.
It is ideal for you to have the finished speech at least a week before the wedding and my turnaround time is usually 5 working days from receiving the questionnaire. So, ideally you should return the questionnaire to me 2-3 weeks before the wedding.

It is not the end of the world if you have less time; but to make a success of your speech, you must read through it lots of times. It won’t come over anywhere near as well if you are not familiar with it. My speechmaking tips will guide you through points such as this.

Filling in the questionnaire can be a pain, but the more you can tell me, the more personal I can make your speech. If you have already started a speech or have typed some stories, please send everything, I can build any good material into your speech. On the other hand, I can write a speech from only a small amount of info.

I may need to ask the odd question after I have read your details, but they are usually worded so simple answers will do. I always do everything by e-mail, unless you request differently.

I then write the draft speech to your humour specification and having written so many speeches, I can usually sense how you would speak from your details. I put a lot of love and care into my speeches and try to base jokes etc around what you tell me about the people, rather than fill the speech with commonly used wedding humour. I do use some wedding humour, but try to steer away from old and rubbishy material.

I then e-mail you a draft speech and my speechmaking tips and leave them with you to study. 80% of people don’t ask for revisions, but I am happy to alter or add anything right up until the wedding.

Whatever you decide to do, thank you for reading this page and Good Luck with your speech.

Best Wishes
Malc
